We recommend replacing the lamp once a year; however, this varies with use. Makes sure to record your Percent Light Transmittance on Startup Solution and Reagents upon the replacement of the new lamp, as PLT may drop off over time. Fluctuations of the PLT on Startup Solution, including a noisy baseline, may also be an indication that the lamp needs to be replaced.
